Course Objective
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

  • Create a range of commonly used formulae
  • Use the Function Wizard to create a wider range of functions to perform many popular tasks
  • Use graphics and drawing tools to draw attention to important information
  • Use and manipulate sheets in the workbook
  • Summarise data via 3D models
  • Consolidate data from different workbooks
  • Link to data from different worksheets
  • Create a database
  • Sort, select and filter data
  • Create automatic subtotals and manipulate an outline view of a database
  • Produce different types of charts and format them

Delegate Profile
Existing users of Excel who have attended the Excel Introduction course or have equivalent knowledge.

Pre-Requisites
Attendees should have experience of using the mouse, and a working knowledge of the Windows operating system, including directory structures.

Structure
Each delegate has the exclusive use of a PC and training includes extensive hands-on activity.
